By accessing or using the website at maywoodinsulation.com or by engaging Maywood Insulation for any service, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, please do not use our website or services.
These terms apply to all visitors, customers, and others who access or use our website or hire us for work. We may update these terms from time to time. Your continued use of the site or our services after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated terms.
Maywood Insulation provides residential and commercial insulation services in the greater Maywood, California area. Services include, but are not limited to, spray foam insulation, attic insulation, blown-in insulation, crawl space insulation, wall insulation, air sealing, insulation removal, and related work.
All work is performed by or under the supervision of licensed and insured professionals. We reserve the right to decline any project at our discretion before a written contract is signed.
Estimates provided by Maywood Insulation - whether verbally or in writing - are based on information available at the time of assessment. A written estimate is valid for 30 days from the date it is issued unless otherwise noted.
Estimates are not binding contracts. A project begins only when both parties have signed a written agreement. If conditions at the job site differ materially from what was assessed at the time of the estimate - for example, discovery of damage, hazardous materials, or access limitations not previously identified - pricing may be adjusted. We will notify you before proceeding with any work that would change the agreed price.
All prices are in U.S. dollars and do not include applicable taxes unless stated otherwise.
Once a project is scheduled, we ask that you provide at least 48 hours notice if you need to cancel or reschedule. This allows us to offer the time to another customer. Repeated last-minute cancellations may affect our ability to serve you.
We will make reasonable efforts to arrive on time for scheduled appointments. If we need to reschedule due to circumstances beyond our control - such as equipment failure, severe weather, or a prior job running longer than expected - we will contact you as soon as possible.
Payment terms are specified in your written project agreement. In general, a deposit may be required before work begins, with the remaining balance due upon completion. We accept the payment methods listed in your project agreement.
Unpaid balances past the due date specified in your agreement may be subject to late fees or collection action. If a dispute arises regarding an invoice, contact us promptly and we will work to resolve it in good faith.
To allow us to perform work safely and effectively, you agree to:
We stand behind the quality of our work. Any workmanship warranty specific to your project will be stated in your written agreement. Material warranties are governed by the terms of the manufacturer of the product installed.
Warranties do not cover damage caused by events outside our control, including but not limited to water intrusion from structural failures not addressed in our scope of work, pest infestation after project completion, or modifications made to the work by others.
Other than as expressly stated in your written agreement, all services are provided "as is" without additional warranties, express or implied. We do not guarantee specific energy savings outcomes, as results depend on many factors outside our control, including your usage habits, appliance efficiency, and local utility rates.
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Maywood Insulation shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising from or related to our services or your use of our website, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.
Our total liability for any claim arising from a specific project shall not exceed the total amount you paid us for that project.

If a dispute arises between you and Maywood Insulation related to our services or these terms, we ask that you first contact us directly to attempt to resolve the matter informally. Most concerns can be addressed quickly with a direct conversation.
If informal resolution is not possible, disputes shall be resolved through binding arbitration in accordance with the rules of a mutually agreed arbitration service, or if no agreement is reached, through the applicable courts in California. You agree to resolve disputes individually and not as part of a class action.
